Back protection men's Icon D3O Level 2 M for jacket

Exactly in size - it fit perfectly into a motorcycle jacket from another manufacturer. It is comfortable and fits very well on the back. Probably the best of what I've seen :)

After buying a motorcycle jacket, the question arose about protecting the back, as the jacket turned out to be foam rubber O_o!! I decided to consider the option with the D3O, as the rigid protection strongly hindered movement. The insert was surprisingly comfortable, immediately fell into the shape of the back. It is soft, flexible, not heavy, does not restrict movement at all and, surprisingly, it becomes hard on impact!
The dimensions of the insert match the specified ones, however, it turned out that it is a little too large for the compartment in my jacket, but this was all solved by cutting the edges of the D3O (cut with simple scissors, quite easily), so there will be no problems with fitting the shape)
From the minuses, I can say that although the insert performs its function of protecting most of the back, unfortunately, it does not cover the lower back and coccyx.
I am very happy with the purchase. Especially the speed of delivery. I recommend it :)

A great option to replace the standard back protection in an inexpensive jacket. It bends perfectly and takes the shape of the body but hardens on impact and becomes no worse than plastic.

I already ordered such protection for my back, only at the first order the protection was Icon D3O L Level 1. This protection is already of the second level, and the size is M. My jacket has 2 compartments, so I decided to try to strengthen the back protection. If it's too cumbersome, I'll leave the second level, and save the first one for another jacket. This type of protection is very pleasant to touch, not heavy in weight and similar to "salmon fillet". By the way, this protection caused the same associations among the relatives when they saw it :)) The dimensions specified in the description on the website correspond to. The fact of the presence of protection in case of blows is checked personally. I decided to conduct a small experiment with protection, took a small glass bottle of cognac (250 ml), took a hammer, put this protection on the bottle and applied it several times with a hammer. Result: the bottle remained intact! My father thought that I was weakly knocking with a hammer, tried to take a hit himself, but he also failed to break the bottle. Of course, this protection will not protect the spine along the entire length to the coccyx, for this there are other types of protection. This is also positioned as a protection for the jacket, it protects the main part of the back. If necessary, it can be cut if a little does not fit in the pocket of the jacket, but I do not have such a need. I also conducted another small experiment, took it outside at -12 degrees. The protection becomes harder, ceases to bend like plasticine. This is a note for fans of skating in cold weather. Well, in general, a cool thing and at an acceptable price. I recommend it.

I used this in my old jacket from icon, only positive impressions! Not heavy, but the material is made of reliable and tough! Movement is not constrained, it was a pleasure to wear! Super-designed security! :)

This protection fits perfectly into my XL jacket, it's tight and quite heavy, but that's how it should be if you care about your safety. This insert is almost invisible through the jacket.
